How to test charging coil on 25 HP Evinrude 25302A

Hello-
I am trying to determine whether this charging/driver coil is any good. I saw a post on another forum that suggested it should have 1.45 ohms of resistance +\- 0.4, but I am not sure if that’s correct. I got a reading of about .7 or .8 on the 200 Ohm scale on a digital meter. Appreciate your advice in advance.

According to the manual on the Boatinfo website 1.45 ohms ±0.4

Ive just realised how silly those figures are .... quoted to 0.01 ohm with a tolerance of ±0.4

Yeah, that is kind of nonsensical. I guess I’m going to replace that one because it is slightly out of the range, even with the large margin of error.
