Honda 200 drop to limp mode after 25 minutes of running.

What can cause this on 2007 Honda 200?
I heard can be bad water pump or bad thermostats. You get a fast beep alarm also.

LIMP mode is 1800 RPM. Only two things cause it. 1. Overheat whereby the engine will shut down after 20 seconds of sensing an overheated condition. 2. Low oil pressure, in which case the engine will continue to run in LIMP.

If you have four indicator lights on your switch console, pull codes. The first attachment tells you how to pull codes. The second attachment tells you what the codes mean.

A very rapid alarm indicates water in the onboard fuel/water separator.
