I have a Ted Williams 7.5hp 2 cylinder seems to be made either by tecumseh or esca, ser# 66600717- 3523
mod# 574-60607
question is I need help making sense of these #,s any help is appreciated. md

thank you so much. imagine im going to rebuild this enjine and go 60mph, lol maybe 15 if I'm lucky but it is a Ted Williams signed cowl and I like it. so there it is have a great day.

I have a 5.5HP of the same vintage that my dad bought new. I keep it for nostalgia sake. They are as simple as a lawnmower. though air cooled, you probably need an impeller too, they do pump some water to cool the exhaust.
bring earplugs when you run it,they are quite a bit nosier than a newer motor.
 
thank you I'll get it ordered,, I'll start with some pictures when I get started, the Cowell is cracked off at the hinge but nothing a bit of carbon fiber and epoxy won't fix. I also sent out some pictures to a graffics company in Dallas TX for the original decals and yes Ted Williams signature lol.
