HELP! Can't get lower unit off.

1989 70 Johnson

The long 5/8" hex head is backed out about 3/4" but I can't get it out. The four bolts are out. Pin removed and gear selector is toward power head. Haven't had the two apart for over 5 years. I've had it apart many times with no issue. I would expect that I could at least drop it until the unit bottoms on the stuck bolt. If so, I would expect to see the bolt, inspect and penetrate oil. How do I get two apart without a lot of banging as it is a casting?

Did you remove the trim tab and the bolt hidden above it?

That's the one I missed. Having done the pump many times, I knew there was another bolt. I removed the anode bolt instead of the bolt up under the trim tab. Thanks!
