Grease fitting to push out trim cyl. pins for DP/C1 drive

Hi Guys,

I need to remove the trim pistons from the transom shield on a DP/C1. I know V/P has a specific part for this. Is it just a grease fitting? If so, does anyone know the size and pitch of the threads ?

Thanks,

John, if memory serves me, it is a standard 1/8" TPT zirk fitting. All other fasteners on this drive are American standard threads, so I believe this is correct. I'll see what I can find out.

Sometimes the area requires some heat to help with corrosion.
These can be stubborn, so be prepared to use some patience.

BTW, the DP C or C1 is one of my favorite AQ series drives. Doesn't get much better than this one!
V/P shot themselves in the foot when they went away from this drive style, IMO.
