I have a 1996 mercury 150 2 stroke that I will be running premix. The motor is currently being rebuilt and everywhere I look people are saying to run 25:1 for the first 30 gallons during break-in. My question is will a fuel/water separator affect the richness of fuel? If not, what are some recommended fuel/water separators?
