I am looking for an OMC fuel pump part# 381688 This pump fits a 1966 200 hp Buick V-8. Are there any alternative's? What are the "PRO'S & CON'S about electrie fuel pumps?

Thanks for solving MY problem. Thats the same number thats on this fuel pump I removed from the dud V6 Buick that I got stuck with. I cant use the pump....different " handle".
Fortunately, my local Parts Jobber Shop found me a direct replacement for $80.00 taxes IN. I can get it next day, as well.
