Fuel line

1995 125 hp Mariner what size of fuel line 5/16 or 3/8 would be ideal for that outboard. Right now I have 5/16 but what I am reading is 3/8 would be better. I would appreciate for some info on this. Thanks.
 
If your talking about supply line from tank to motor it should be 3/8" on that one. I run 3/8" on this 115 Merc here on my boat. Just set up an old 25 horse Evinrude today and used 5/16".....usually adequate for motors under 50 hp.
