Fuel consumption

I have a Silverton 34 convertible with twin 350 crusaders. I have a 60+ mile trip coming up and I'm not sure how to do the fuel consumption. I have twin 130 gallon fuel tanks that are half full. I'm running from middle Chesapeake bay to upper Chesapeake bay. ANY help would be awesome!!!!

What exactly are you asking; how to measure the fuel consumption?

Most of us use GPH - stating what you prefer makes it easier to get it right the first time...

I'm asking how to figure out the GPH.

with hour meters, its a bit easy...and with dual tanks, you can track each engine separately.

Start with full tanks...and record the hour meters on both sides...you may want to note 'no wake' running time along with the on plane time.
when you get to the destination, go and fill the tanks and note the hours and the gallons each tank needed to fill up. Subtract the ending hours from the starting hours...then divide the gallons needed to fill the tank by the hours run.

that will give you an average GPH value for each engine...if you want something more precise, you'll have to get a floscan...
