"hello i have a Q i have a 86 and a 88 force 125 outboard short shaft but i need a long shaft for my new boat a friend has a long shaft but it needs new pinion gear, forward and reverse gear can i use the parts from my short to fix the long shaft? or do i need to just get a new motor"
