flywheel tourqe setting

hi i have a Honda bfa 15hp out
can anyone tell me tourqe setting for flywheel nut

Hi,
I don't have the 15 A spec but the 15D uses an M16 x 1.5 nut and the torque is 132 N•M (98 lb. ft.).
The note says apply oil to threads.
So, if the thread is the same, that might get you there.

i have not done it yet .but i believe it may be 30/40 1bs

I don't think 30 ft. Lbs torque or even 40 is going to secure that flywheel. The spec for the flywheel nut on the old B75 (7,5hp) and B100 (10hp) is listed as 47 lb. ft. and even that seems a bit low to me.
Just my opinion.

Good idea...
Too tight and you could crack the flywheel.

Too loose and you might have a centrifugal bomb on your hands.

yes .just had another look at this onan manual .i dont think its for a outboard .i just saw the bfa bit and got carried away

hi messaged honda they just got back tourqe specs are 83.2 lbs .thanks for uour help
