Let’s say I had 2 brand new exhaust manifold gaskets, put them on with gasket compound, tightened all bolts snug, set my torque wrench wrong and broke the first bolt I tried to torque in like an idiot, then had to take the manifold back off again so I could remove the busted protruding bolt. Got it out.. question is, can I reassemble and use these gaskets again? No tears happened when I took them off, I was careful.. compound still very wet and tacky.. are the gaskets trash though because I snugged them down pretty tight already? In other words, do I need new gaskets now?
