I have an E155wtlesm that someone kind of changed things on.. the starter solenoid looks like the ground wire goes across the engine and is grounded on a mounting bolt for the ignition box. Is there a reason it's not grounded next to the solenoid? Is that where its supposed to be grounded? Checking with a meter the ground shows open from the solenoid to the ground cable/starter mounting bolt/engine block.
Any comment on how the solenoid should be connected is appreciated.
