Evinrude 6 HP won't run

Hello I have an Evinrude 6704m 6 HP motor that will not run. It has spark, it has fuel and compression but wil not fire off at all. Also it has the CD unit for ignition.

Check flywheel key.----See if spark can jump a gap of 3/8" or more on both leads.--------Put 6-1/2 drops of fuel in each sparkplug hole.-----Install plugs .----Try and start it.----Report what happens.------And have you tried switching plug wires ?

Was it stored awhile? Do you have some history for us? Bad fuel? First of the cdi Fishermans. Pretty bulletproof

Check fuel shut off
See if fuel comes out at carb
I had clogged fitting at base of shut off

I have two of those models…there is no fuel shutoff

If you have spark and fuel it should pop
Take off fuel hose at carb Fuel should come out. If it does it’s in the carb
Float may be stuck Tap bowl
What year is motor I have manual to look for shut off
