My Chrysler 75HP O/B pulls to

My Chrysler 75HP O/B pulls to the right during crusing. I've had the boat and motor 2 weeks now. Didn't really notice it due to the excitment of having a boat. I looked at the fin/skag(I think?) and it has a curve to it. Can this be straigntened?

well.. I have yet to see someone straighten a "Skeg" without it breaking off... I guess depending on the severity of the bend and if you can apply enough heat without destroying the seals you might be able to straighten it..

Most have it cut off and weld a new one on. or put one of those shiny skeg covers on.

"Most information I'm getting tells me to "leave it alone" unless it is really a problem. It is a very slight curve. I plan on replacing the prop at the end of the boating year, so maybe I'll take it to a shop and see how much it would cost to straighten or replace then."
