Coolant leak in new engine 5.7 sbc

My coolant is leaking out a hole in the bottom of the engine. it doesn't make sense to me. Does anyone know what this hole is and how I can plug it up. Pic is from old block but I circled the hole.

I would think it either has a press in core plug or threaded pipe plug. Whats in there now ? Per sandkickers comments if you go a reman or new long block the supplier should figure it out or at least point you in the right direction.

This picture appears to show a plug in that hole (just a picture from the web). I can look at mine when the rain lets up and see what I have...

Pretty certain that is one of the tooling holes used when machining the block...should have a 'mate' parallel to the crank's axis, at the flywheel end...about a half inch in...should not be any oil or coolant coming from either of those holes...
