Chrysler 318 model question.

I just bought a 1969 tollycraft 28 sportfish with twin 318's. I was told one motor was rebuilt and the other needed rebuilding. My question is how do I tell what year and model these engines are? m318? lm318? I looked for the brass name plate with the serial # but couldn't find them. I did find casting numbers on the block and intake manifold. Starboard side block- 4104230-318-1 manifold- 414202 port side block- 2?3?030 318-2 manifold 2846348. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Basically, there are two very different 318 Mopars, the early motor, and the later 318/ 340/ 360 motors.

Eyeball the photos of motors in the below website to determine which yours is (I suspect the earlier one).

Thanks! I want to buy long blocks to replace them both. Is there any specific year long block i need to buy or would any 318 long block bolt up?
