I got my stator and about to put it in. I am still worried about the voltage regulator and enything else I might have damaged that will effect the new stator. Are there any tests I can run on the regulator and any other parts?
 
I would test and replace that too. That does happen a lot. Don't use any specialty or deep cycle batteries. The module overheats.
What was the reason for the stator replacement?

THere are regulator tests in the manual.
 
I shorted the main 20 amp fuse on the block. The wires on the voltage rewgulator got hot and started to melt (not all the way through). After that I had no spark so I replaced my stator. Still no spark.
