Changing Boat Motors

Hello, I am replacing my current 115 Opti Max with a 150 Pro XS and was wondering if I will have to adjust my tachometer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

maybe...a lot depends upon what tach you have now and how its connected....

Copy, the boat is 2005 NX750, i believe it's an adjustable teleflex but will have to check later when I get home.
