Can't find exhaust leak Mercruiser 3.0

Leak very likely at the exhaust manifold to head juncture. Exhaust gas is fairly clear, won't be much to see. CAREFULLY feel for puffs of HOT! gas. If on topside easier to find, if on underside or sides of ports, more difficult to find.

removed manifold and saw that is not manifold, head gasket was blown. Before that, it was misfiring then you go more then 3800 rpm. What can be the problem? Before was trying to solve misfiring, new sparkplugs, distributor cap, rotor, spark wires was changed.

Ayuh,.... It's runnin' Lean, a lack of fuel, the spark plugs are white,...'

Ya detonated it to death,....

With ethanol fuel, I've noticed that the plugs tend to run scary white, even though the jetting is okay.

No... ( Price one for giggles!) I'm wondering why head gasket blew... Did engine ever overheat???
Did you have the valves done while it was apart?
