this is the one piece drive and trans the out put shaft for the doubled race and 2 bearings . i only remember a paper gasket .been on line looked at many just shows paper gasket.with the cover bolted on i have about a 9 thousand gap between cover and gasket.took cover back off put old race back with cover still gap.now its old case old cover and old race.this is exactly what was in there.still gap.i don't recall a shim of any kind. thanks for any help this is a 1976 borg warner velvet drive
 
ok guys problem solved there was a sealed package with the cover gaskets in it 5 or so in the big gasket box for cover was a lose cover gasket 75 thousands thick should have looked better. still nobody on youtube shown thick gasket or parts places not even alto but it was in there kit. thanks for all the comebacks stay safe
