My dad has a '62(I think) Thompson with a Volvo Aquamatic 80. The Block tag says BB70 12361. I also believe this is the same thing as a Volvo B16B? Anyway, last year he tore down the engine to check things out and it had two head gaskets (copper type). Is this normal from the factory? Anyhow, I ordered two for him from swedishtreasures.com...he put back together but didnt run it untill this year. He is now getting a small amount of water in the oil, only after it sits for a while. So, what are the main areas to check for water getting into the oil? And, does the head need two gaskets? If so, should he use a gasket sealer with this two gasket set up?
