AQ145a Timing

Hi, I wonder if someone could give me a little help please

I am trying to locate the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley. I can see the calibrated scale on the front of the engine but cannot see any indication on the pulley to aim the strobe light at.

There should be a notch at the front of the crankshaft pulley. Try to find it with your finger, then mark it in white with a felt pen.

The notch on the pulley is often very small. You may need to align the other two marks in order to locate this.
Once located, high-lite this with paint or ????
