Anti Freeze in 2 stroke outboard?

Watched a video of a guy winterizing his outboard and he puts anti freeze in it. Is this nessecary? I thought they drained if left upright??

They drain when they are new, but after some use and corrosion the drains get restricted and the next thing you know there is an issue. For the cost of the antifreeze its worth pumping it through.
