Hello everyone, I’m still running the 1992. I had to work on the boat which basically turned into a rebuild. I’m ready to get back on the water and have been clean and servicing the yamaha.
I checked the trim tab / anode and it’s getting a little rough looking so it’s getting replaced.
I thought about anodes on or in the motor. Looking at parts break down I have only found one. It’s in the crankcase cyLinder diagram. I can’t tell if its under the head or located on the surface of the engine.
If someone could help me out I would really appreciate it.
I don’t want to just start removing bolts. If I need to remove the head I’ll need to prepare for that. I’m willing to bet the anode has never been changed.
