Anchor cabinet

Hello, I have a 23 sea-ray weekender with a bow anchor cabinet. My problem is I can't let out the anchor from inside the cabin. I have to go through the vent in the ceiling and i get scratched up, and it's a real pain. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. And i did install a anchor pulley on the very front to help it out better.

I would say you have three options....1) sell the boat, 2) change your anchoring processes by staying out of the cabin and walk up to the anchor locker over the deck, 3) install a remotely operated anchor windlass system...it won't completely eliminate the need to get up on the deck but can minimize that if it is installed and operated optimally...
