Adjusting Evinrude upper linkage

I have a 97 evinrude 115 with a reman powerhead. I have no manual. Learning how to fix as I go. The idle on my motor has slowly decreased to a very low idle compared to very strong the last couple months.. I was told to check to see if the upper linkage is set up correctly or has moved.

i was told the top picture on that link is incorrect, and the bottom one on that link is correct. Mine looks exactly like the top. Olease someone explain how Ican adjust it. Or is it going to be a major pain in my rear..

Yeah it is lol I was trying to figure out how to adjust it so I posted this forum but within 5 minutes of posting this I went out there and figured it out. I don't have a manual yet, I found a service manual on here for$48 so I just bought it,its the oem service manual notvthose freakin seloc ones
