96 mercury 60hp 2stroke

New to boat motors, when I start mine and it’s idling, I can pull plug wire 2 and 3 with no change but if I pull 1 the motor dies. Should all three spark plugs fire all the time?
My issue is when on the water the boat bogs down when accelerating

Yes they should spark all the time.----Does spark jump a gap of 3/8" on all leads , yes or no ?----Stop running this motor and find the issue.

You will know if there is spark on 2 and 3 if you put your finger in the end cap when its running.
