'95 Johnson 112 spl. Won't Plane Out

I got my dad's old '95 Wellcraft with a '95 or '96 Johnson 112 spl.; i'm not sure. I fueled it up the other day, added this sea foam stabilizer because it had been sitting a while, almost a year. I checked the fuel/water bulb, there might have been a little moisture but not much so added it anyways. Did the 50:1 fuel/oil ratio and it cranked up on the ears almost instantly. Went to test on the water and the boat is idling ok but when I try to get it up and go on plane it bogs down and dies. Not sure what my problem is, still learning about outboards. Also, the tach doesn't work so that doesn't help. My dad told me the starboard spark plug wire gets caught sometimes when lifting cover off, checked it, not the problem. Going to get a friend who knows a lot more about outboards than I do help diagnose. Any ideas? I was thinking about replacing all spark plugs, checking their wires, and cleaning the carbs to see if this works. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
