Ok guys I got a good one for ya I have a good running 9.9 Tuned up clean carb. new plugs over 100 in both cylinder runs great start up after one to two pulls idles fine and will wind up in neutral put in gear will only throttle up half way with water up two water ports on lower unit but when water is about the cavatation plate it will open all the way up screaming and blows all the water out of the drum the tiller works everything fine any ideas

Have you checked spark yet? It sounds like it may be running on one cylinder.

If your trying to run wide open in a drum??
Then you need to put it on the boat and go for a ride.
These need to run in the water that's not circulated.

Pt it on the boat and then post the results.
