87" 50 hp different pistons ?

new to me 50hp, sold as parts motor(but last sold 6 years ago as a runner, but never installed) so compression is 140 and 130, ok, so removed head to take a look for scoring and change thermostat, no scoring, but head damaged and pistons don't match. have an extra head, no problem there. But pistons, top has no markings, bottom , "up 1" (1 maybe arrow), one has been changed, all back together now and idles great on muffs. so its been repaired (except head), just looking for comments, over size piston?, just one piston changed? do a break in cycle because new piston, but it getting put on a 16 footer(replacing a 70hp, another post maybe), but best part of parts motor, is the power trim-tilt! note: piston pic upside-down

Fairly common to change just one piston.------A good used head should not be hard to find.-----Just mix at 50:1 , verify operation of VRO and run it.
 
well, "RUN IT" I did, wow , runs so much better then the 70hp its replacing, what a lucky find. turns 5650 rpm with just me, will mostly be used pulling tubes, so 2 or 3 kids and 2 adults
