78 JOHNSON JAVELIN 85 hp

I have a 78 johnson 4 cylinder. 1 cylinder has a weak spark, 1 cylinder has no spark. Wires all look in good shape. what would you try first? power pak replacement, coil replacement?

How did it run for you last season?------Some will argue.----I would start with charging the battery , have battery load tested.-----Then take starter apart for inspection and ohm check on armature.-----If flywheel turs slow it does not generate spark.----If you just bought this motor start with a compression test.----Post your numbers here
