70hp mecury

late 1970's or early 1980's 70hp mecury. O.K this may sound a little crazy. my motor wasn't firing properly harder on bottom bairly on top 2 . my friend pulled the flywheel off without pulling the center chunk with. didnt know they where maid to be one peice . thought this may have caused my firing problem so i bought a new one . now its not firing at all. if there is anyone out there that can help.

New flywheels are way to expensive !!!-------So likely a used one is what you got -------------------Perhaps the wrong one ?????------Look at the marks on the old hub and flexplate(rust etc ) and put the old one back on. Timing marks can also be used.
