6902M Low Idle control

I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I'm still having so idle issues. I pulled the plug off the top of the carb where the low idle jets are and I noticed a brass pen barely sticking through. I also noticed my needle control tip was broke off. I'll have a picture below of a carb but should the tip of the needle pass through to this chamber? It would be awesome if someone had a picture of what it should look like inside that space.

Tip of the slow speed needle broke off , very common.----It is plugging / blocking the fuel.--Remove welch plug.-----Drill a wee hole opposite the needle and use a small nail to punch it out.--Plug the drilled hole with a screw.---Replace welch plug.-------Repair / replace the needle and go fishing
