64 evinrude 10hp. sportwin carb settings??

Hi all. Just curious if all of the older outboards begin carb setting with 3/4 turn on the high speed jet and 1 1/2 turns on the low speed, and then go from there?

There is no adjustable high speed jet on a 1964 model 9.5 HP----Or do you have a 1963 model 10 HP ?----Model # or pictures help !

Must be 63. It is a 10 horse. Its out on the boat and its raining here. After it quits I will get pictures..

Those setting work to get the motor to start and keep running.----Then you must make final adjustments on boat with motor warmed up.----Make sure thermostat is installed and working.----They often stick open.
