Need Help Again! My brother bought a boat, when we shift into forward it starts making the typical kerchunk noise of a clutch dog slipping. Its an 1989 4.3 L motor with cobra outdrive. I checked the linkage and it seems to be adjusted correctly, but the esa module when I trip the lever doesn't cause the motor to stumble, I checked the switches with an ohm meter and the module without the actual switch lever doesn't seem to do anything when switch is actived and motor does not stumble. Could this also cause the clutch dog not to fully engage and be causing the clutch dog to slip??
