30 hp Mariner motor

Hi all. I have a 30 hp mariner motor and i have not for the life of me been able to determine the year or parts i need to replace the impeller/water pump. the s/n on the plate reads. 30e 689 L410970. i have checked many charts online and cant seem to figure it out. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

What is your motor 4 or 2 stroke, your engine number might start with OL------.
Is the numbers from the plate on the leg or from the engine number.
