2011 3 litre engine issue bogs 3800 rpms

New member
Brand new starts great runs great till 3800rpms then misses checked spark good on all cyl. Swap carbs ran remote fuel system comp good bypass sensors stumped will try new module any input would be greatly appreciated
 
2011 still under warranty? Pretty new to be working on. What fuel are you using. Stay away from that 15% blend. Of course you can always get sh** gas from station.
 
2011 model year, "who set up the valves".

It is brand new.

You should be at the dealer not trying to figure this out
yourself. No offense but this is a warrenty/dealer issue.
 
We all know gm can't mess up something like setting up the valves.

Just like we know Michigan motors can't mess that up.

Brand new motors can't have anything messed up with them.

And the original poster has no problem right now with a brand new boat.

no gm did not mess up.... The dealer would/should have caught it!!

You cant compare a rebiuld house with gm.........

This is not a topic to suggest possibilities to solve the issue. The boat is under warrenty and has to be brought back to dealer for repair. End of all.

If owner tries to repair and voids warrenty that is his choice.

Not yours or mine to suggest that he does...

Leave this one alone.

Yes he should bring it back to the dealer.

But maybe the dealer has people like you working for him.

I would think he would have been a happy camper if the dealer had "people like me" working for them.....

I do work on boats but not for a living!

I work in industry now, enough said!
