After long idle motor dies from no fuel. Have to disconnect fuel line, pump fuel though line reconnect and reprime and restart. Only happens with a long idle runs fine at higher speeds. Has anyone had this problem or might know what could be the cause?

It sounds like your gas tank fuel line is losing its prime. I'd suggest checking all fittings to make sure that there are no leaks. If there are, the engine will pull in air instead of fuel - and once the line is void of fuel, the engine will start. You disconnecting, pumping and then reconnecting the line provides fuel just long enough to repeat the cycle.
