2007 90hp E-tec no lights on EMM

I have a 2007 90hp E-TEC with no lights on the EMM and the Evinrude diagnostic tester can not find the EMM when I hook up the laptop.
I have no lights at anytime.
The motor will crank over but will not run and I still have no lights on the EMM while cranking.

I was running the boat out on the bay about 4500 RPMs when the engine just cut off like it had turned it off or had pulled the kill switch.

I can find nothing in the service manual about this problem or how to trouble shoot it.
The battery is fully charged.
cranks over fine but no spark.

Any Ideas of where to go from here?
