I have an 2004 Z300TXRC Yamaha
I dropped the lower unit and the impeller was shred. There where some cracked shims and a spacer of some sort, on the drive shaft. When I got everything off I checked the service manual and saw the shims spacer and what seems to be a metal cap on the spacer are suppose to be in the housing? Sooooooo.... Not sure what moron put this together. Any how, I ordered a Sierra Kit specific to this motor. My issue is ... the kit came with NO spacer, Cap or shims. It was suppose to be a complete kit. The Sierra PN 18-3396-1.
I put everything together and it fits like a glove. So what am I missing here?
