2002 mercruiser 5.0L EFI will not accelerate

Hi,
I have a 2002 mercruiser 5.0L EFI that suddenly will not go over 3200 RPM, but to me it sounds like the engine is screaming. i have tried two*different prop hubs same result. in speaking to some friends i have been given some things to try. one is to test the fuel pressure, i have looked at every section in the fuel section but i do not see a port to test the fuel pressure. does anyone have any experience with this.**
 
I oder a fuel gauge adapter yesterday from CFM-Tech.com to test 5.7 TBI EFI thottle body I'm having problems with, I see from the data it shows to work on a 5.0.............Check it out maybe this is what you are looking for.

I ordered it because my engine floods at idle and this is a tool that will eliminate the fuel pump or regulator. Should get it early next week.

thanks fred good call tat looks like what i need. i looked all over the fuel system but cannot find a factory valve.
