2001 yamaha 200 HPDI surging

Hi Everybody. Motor runs great for 5 minutes then starts surging. I have replaced water/fuel filter and primer bulb and filter on side of motor, Tightened all fuel lines with new clamps and checked for kinks. Bulb does not get hard and fuel leaks out of exhaust if I keep squeezing bulb. Any Ideas would be appreciated. Thanks From to FL. Keys. John

Clean out the VST screen. The screen is located on the bottom of the electric fuel pump inside the fuel vapor separator.

its not the VST screen, when fuel is coming out the exhaust, ERIC

You were right on they money. Replaced both fuel pumps and water tested today. Ran like new. Hope to get some fishing in before oil spill gets to the FL. Keys. Thanks Again John

yes if fuel comes out exhaust, lp fuel pumps

if can not get up to full rpms, VST screen or fuel pump, or even the VST top filter
