2001 BF 90 alarm/indicator light problem in remote

The alarm does not self test when key is turned and the 2 indicator lights are not coming on in the remote. I removed alarm and test directly on battery and it works fine. I checked all connections in harness and all are good. I tried grounding temp sensors wires on powerhead thinking it should sound alarm but nothing happens. What else can I check

No. It starts and runs fine.

The carbureted 90 lights do not self test. Sometimes the buzzer may sound when you start it up and it revs up, but the lights only come on....green lights up only when the engine is running with good oil pressure and the red lights up only when the engine is running and there is an overheat.
