2000 johnson 40hp power trim leaking.

My power trim is leaking out the top seal. Was fine when parked 6 years ago, works fine now when full of fluid. The boat has been garage kept when not in use so i dont have lots of corrosion ect
Is this a DIY project? I have tools and decent mechanical knowledge but noting specific to hydraulics.
Complete rebuild or just replace the seals at on the ram?
The youtube videos ive found so far are less than ideal in usefulness, they kind of bumble thru the process and arrive at a possibly working end

I've attached a link to a diagram of all of the parts. There's a lot going on in there, but I think you can handle it. Sometimes, there's a special tool needed to screw the top of the cylinder off. But the diagram should help.
