I’m working on yanmar 1gm10 diesel.
Engine in storage 6 years, flushed fuel system and replaced all fuel filters.
Engine started with a little start fluid and ran about 30 seconds then slowly stopped like it ran out of fuel.
I removed injector ,connected it to the High pressure fuel line turned it over with compression release on ,injector showed good spray coming out. Still no start ,even with a little start fluid.
Removed cyl head,did a valve job,new injector and gasket with three bond gasket sealer.
Still no start, could fuel timing be off?
