1999 40 elpt

I have a 1999 40ELPT power plus series mercury motor. What is the gas oil mix?
tell me any other information that would be helpful. Is it hard to change the lower end oil and what kind does it take?

I would run a 50 to one mix for the fuel.to change the g/box oil you need a pump that can push the oil in from the bottom screw hole till it comes out the top level plug hole..the plastic containers that the Merury gearbox oil comes in,would do.Not hard to do
