I have a 1996 9.9 Johnson 4 stroke that quits running. New stator, ignition coil, impeller rebuilt fuel pump and carburetor. After about twenty minutes it coughs once, then twice, then sounds like it is running on crossed wires, then quits. It will restart but will immediately do the same and quit. The manifold feels warmer than normal. Any suggestions?
