When shifting I get a "bang" sound when the shift is to forward as if the gear is slamming into position. When the shift is to reverse, however, the shift is silent. It seems to me that the idle speed is too high. Could that account for the noise? If so, is there an adjustment for me to easily adjust the idle by ear (no tach)?
