Hey everyone... new here as well as have very little knowledge or experience with this.
Motor runs great on the trailer hooked up with the hose. Revs high in neutral, forward and reverse. Put it in the water and idles a little rough but nothing drastic. Throw it in gear and there is no power. It acts like its pegged at around 2500 to 3000 RPMs and has next to no power behind it. I wanna say maybe going 6 mph MAX. Put it in neutral and it will rev high all day if needed.
I can also tell where there is a lot of play in the throttle linkage and cannot seem to correct it. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated
